Today I walked in Annual the Disneyland CHOCwalk. (In the picture I’m hanging out with the mascot of CHOC “Choco”) This year’s personal goal has been accomplished!! WOOHOO (you can still donate HERE) I want to show my appreciation for those who sponsored me, (Luigi, Michael R., Caroline, Ed, Paul B., Tony, Peter Philipp, Stefanie, Todd, Jean, Paul C., Landy, Sarah, Anita, Sunny, Jialong, John, Janice, Gregory, Joanne, Alex, William, Melissa, Stephanie C., Stephen, Kemis, Christina, Michael H., Jason, Mike L., David, F Michael S., Justin, & Danette)  their generosity in support of CHOC and this year’s CHOC Walk. I can’t begin to express what your gift means to me and to this great organization. The money is most definitely helpful and will go to extremely good use, there’s no doubt about that. But more than the monetary value, I so greatly appreciate the thought behind the gift. Illness is a burden but your actions have really lightened the load for these children. This is a very important cause to me and means very much because it hits very close to home. For that especially, I thank you. As you may or may not know, I am definitely a kid at heart. And what kid do you know that doesn’t like Disney!? Well not me! I love Disney, especially the theme parks. And even more than how much as I love Disney theme parks, is how much I love to help children who are sick and in need of some TLC.

 

That’s why I am so very excited that 2 of my favorite things are combined in an awesome event called the CHOC WALK.  On Sunday, October 16, the CHOC Walk in the Park will take place at Disneyland® Park and Disney’s California Adventure Park®.  Over 14,000 men, women and children of all ages will join together, each with their own “reasons to walk” for CHOC Children’s and CHOC Children’s at Mission Hospital.  You can help me help CHOC by sponsoring me. Together we can make a difference in the lives of thousands of children. 

Last year I raised over $1000.00 Dollars and I am hoping that this year I can top that goal.
